Data::Tools::Crypto
===================

Data::Tools::Crypto provides authenticated encryption, hybrid public key
encryption and digital signatures, with a single common API:

    Data::Tools::Crypto::Base       the shared API, not used on its own
    Data::Tools::Crypto::Symmetric  shared secret key, ChaCha20-Poly1305
    Data::Tools::Crypto::RSA        public/private key pair, hybrid, signatures

Both modules offer encrypt/decrypt in raw, hex, base64 and base64url forms,
and freeze/thaw which carry any plain perl data structure in one step.

These modules were developed inside Data::Tools but no released Data::Tools
ever contained them. They are a separate distribution because they need
CryptX, which is large, and Exception::Sink, neither of which should be
required just to use the rest of Data::Tools.

INSTALLATION

To install this module type the following:

   perl Makefile.PL
   make
   make test
   make install

DEPENDENCIES

Data::Tools::Crypto uses:

   Data::Tools
   CryptX 0.048 or later
   Encode
   Exception::Sink
   JSON 4.0 or later
   MIME::Base64 3.11 or later
