NAME constant - Perl pragma to declare constants DESCRIPTION This pragma allows you to declare constants at compile-time. When a constant is used in an expression, Perl replaces it with its value at compile time, and may then optimize the expression further. In particular, any code in an "if (CONSTANT)" block will be optimized away if the constant is false. INSTALLATION To install this module, run the following commands: perl Makefile.PL make make test make install Alternatively, to install with Module::Build, you can use the following commands: perl Build.PL ./Build ./Build test ./Build install SUPPORT AND DOCUMENTATION After installing, you can find documentation for this module with the perldoc command. perldoc constant You can also look for information at: Search CPAN http://search.cpan.org/dist/constant CPAN Request Tracker: http://rt.cpan.org/Dist/Display.html?Name=constant AnnoCPAN, annotated CPAN documentation: http://annocpan.org/dist/constant CPAN Ratings: http://cpanratings.perl.org/d/constant COPYRIGHT AND LICENCE Copyright (C) 1997, 1999 Tom Phoenix.
